To The Honda Collection Hall: You have a very impressive and beautiful Collection of vehicles. Hope to be able to see it for real /visit Japan one day. My name is Anders (age 58). been riding since 1975…my first bike being a new CB 400F…which I still owns to-day. Since 1980 I also collected Classic/ interesting bikes. Among them many Hondas. Got two all-original 1982 CB 1100Rc. What a fantastic bike ! Reg. the numbers being made of the CB 1100R. Could You please tell me the correct number ? All over the Internet You got this information; 1050 excamples of the Rb – 1500 of the Rc (mine) & 1500 of the Rd. Total : 4050 CB 1100R. BUT there is something I do not understand here (actually do not belive). Think the numbers…at least when it comes to the Rc-version is bigger /more than 1500 excamples ? Not many more though..but it must be more than 1500. The reason why ? Well, my two CB 1100Rc have these frame numbers: SC08-2000772 & SC08-2002211. That Means, between/among those two numbers must have been produced 1440 bikes of the Rc-version….AND in case my second bike…the SC08-2002211 was the very last CB 1100Rc that left the factory-line…before changing to 1983 CB 1100Rd…then (in case only 1500 Rc had been made) well then the Rc rnge must have begun with this number: SC08-2000712. Very unlikely..or ?
As far as I know, all Rd began with No. SC08-21….. Lokk forward to hear Your comment. Kind Regards, a very satisfiend Honda rider & collector, Anders J. Olsen, Denmark PS: promise to send You Photos of my bikes later…rigt now are Building a “house” specific for them.

    Dear Sir,
As the previous editor for the UK VJMC I was fortunate to receive many images from the museum when members visited, However the range of images on the web site are superb. I am a Honda person having CB72, 1961, 1962, CL77, 1966, C72, 1964 and CB750, 1970 1st model. I won’t say K0 since this adds to the confusion since the K0 existed as a low run intermediate model between CB750 and CB750 K1 however K0 has obviously become the generic for first model.
    Kind regards
    Dennis

Hello from the UK. On the CB250 Dream model is the colour a metallic grey or is it black please? . Also what is the year of manufacture and do you have any history of the actual museum exhibit.

I am building a replica of one of these.

    Best wishes … Ashley
